This war will probably go on until atleast the end of president bush's term in office,i think when he is out as president and the new president comes in(probably hilary clinton) the war will start to come to an end because anyone who knows anything can see that we have been in there longer then we needed to be,so a new president will probably begin to pull troops out one platoon at a time.so all in all i see the war being over in anywhere from 24 to 30 months, 2-2 1/2 years,it may seem like a long time, but its only a blink of an eye in terms of how long we have been there and how much our soldiers have endured, and alot of this is coming from hope because ill be leaving for the marines soon :-)

Well it really isn't a "war" anymore, at least for our involvment.
It is now becoming a civil war that we have a police action in.
And as far as that goes, we are goign to be over there for a VERY long time.

if U.S. troops withdraw or stay there, a civil war has been ignited, and apparently other than God, nothing can stop it.
