certified pharmacy techs.... wat are u getting paid?

I'm getting paid $16.70 an hour. I work at a hospital pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ. I also work overnight (11PM-8AM) so I get a 13% differential on top of my $16.70 and hour.

When I was 17 I worked at Safeway because you weren't allowed to become certified until you were 18. They only paid me $8.50 and hour. It sucked!

If you are looking to become a pharmacy technician I would HIGHLY suggest you work in a hospital if you can. Hospital pharmacy technicians make A LOT more then retail pharmacy technicians (like Safeway, CVS, Walgreens, etc).
