You drill a threaded hole through the top of the bolt then use a tap to get the bolt out. If you aren't sure go to your local car repair place or Home Depot and tell them you need to remove a stripped bolt and they can show you the correct tools, good luck....

more than likely the threads are already ruined on the bolt and where it goes into if the bolt is stripped.

you failed to say what the bolt is in ! most likely all you need to do is use a cordless drill w/ reverse and a screw extractor and that should be enough to remove the bolt. just take your time and make sure not to use drill at high speed .

What is the bolt attached to? Maybe use a pair of vice Grips assumimg you can get a hold of it..

the drill and tap might work but youcan also use a vice grip and turn it regularly.spray it first with wd-40 or pb and see if that helps
