Has anyone been impressed by Isreal and how they are playing in the Eurocup, does anyone think they have a good chance to be one of the elite teams come world cup 2010? i mean just watching them is fantastic, and they are such a young team

They are decent, but they honestly, too many powerhouses for them to overcome. 2010 must likely is too soon to ask for. 2014, maybe.
But in my heart, I see Japan becoming a powerhouse before Isreal.

They were in the group with France and Switzerland for the last cup. They had the same number of points as the Swiss who went on to the finals. They only missed out due to goals allowed or something like that. Nearly won the group.
