I voted for Sanjaya last night (as well as Melinda, so don't completely hate on me) and thought about her. Then thought I was a very good American, doing my part to help with the Obesity problem that we have here!

Yeah, I heard about this and yes it is absolutely ridiculous. Just because she decides to starve herself until Sanjaya's voted off doesn't mean America will listen. People aren't going to not vote for him just because this woman is claiming to starve herself until he's gone. I don't want to sound harsh, but I have a feeling she'll starve to death before Sanjaya's gone.

I didn't hear that but that is not the correct thing to do because she is only hurting herself. She needs to get involved in real life instead of reality T.V. That is totally rediculous. That boy Sonjay or however you spell it has captured the american voters hearts and they will keep voting for him whether he sings good or not.

This is a strike in the war against the movement by Howard Stern to get Sanjaya to win the whole thing

I cannot believe that someone would let t.v. run their lives like that. I have a feeling she won't be eating for a long time still. What-with the whole "vote for the worst" website thing going on.

Extremely sad. If one is doing it to protest a great social injustice, like Gandhi, it might be justified, though even then, there are other methods of gaining media attention to a cause.
I would say she has lost perspective completely, and people should email her and try to talk her out of it.

I think she's ridiculous and she is getting what she deserves for making such a stupid statement/promise. Watch her You Tube video, I think it's because of her that Sanjaya is still on the show!
