For my baby, I have found Parent's Choice (Walmart) to be the best diapers for the price:)
Although Parent's Choice works for my baby, it may not work for all babies. My baby wasn't one to pee & poop out his diaper.
You have to find a diaper that works for your baby:)

LUVS are definately the best diaper for the price and they get the job done. Cheapest price at Walmart ALL the time. Plus if you sign up on mailing list they mail you coupons (sometimes) and they email you to tell you when they will be in the sunday paper. The only negative is that they don't have coupons out all the time like pampers and huggies. But the coupons are normally $3 off a bag. When they come out I just go on ebay and buy 20 or more coupons for $3 and stock up on diapers. Just a suggestion

A lot of people that I talk to say that Pampers are the best, but they are stiff. I have used Huggies from the very beginning and they allow my baby to move freely (she is a toddler now). If you go to Wal-Mart you can but a big box of them for not very much and the quality is very good for the price. Wal-Mart stores vary in their prices, I can go to one and the price is $19 something for the big box and at another one the price is $18 something. The Huggies Supreme look like they are the same price as the regular ones, but if you look closely, you get less diapers. Go with the original Huggues, they are the best.

If your worried about a generic brand Luvs work great! There about $7.50 a pack wher I'm from the have the restickable tabs and keep everything in really well. I used them for my daughter when she was still in diapers. Currently though I use Pampers for my son. Only reason is the have the point you earn to redeem stuff on every pack of diapers and wipes, including the value box diapers and value box wipes refills. They are a little more expensive, but I like the points. Personally I don't like Huggies because they never seemed to keep everything in.

I loved the pampers swaddlers while my son was still small but as he really sized up I found that the huggies were the best. He has a bubble butt and some of the other brands would still leak with him when he would sit down. As far as the inexpensive brands went I really liked the HEB and Target ones for when he was around a size 3 and 4. They worked really well and he seemed to be comfortable in them.

I love Pampers! Huggies left both my kids with a lot of those "diaper crystals". To save on costs, I signed up at pampers.com like 4 different times, so I get tons of coupons mailed to me. Then, I joined BJ's (they carry the biggest box; even bigger than Sam's Club). They take coupons plus send out their own, too.
You'll save tons if you join a wholesale club, even with the cost of membership. Maybe another person you know would like to join and you could share a membership and split the cost. That's what I did.
To be honest, I never tried anything besides Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, and the WalMart brand. I wish the wholesale clubs would sell small trial packs so you could try theirs out without being stuck with a case of diapers you might wind up hating.

Ive tried every EVERY diaper out there, im a mom of 4 boys and 29 weeks with another boy, and i recomment using Dri Bottoms, they are a wal-mart brand, that work awesome!!! they are the best diaper ever!! My second oldest son always woke up wet, always didnt matter if i changed him at 3am, he would soke through LUVS, Pampers, huggies, everything. Never had a problem with Dri-bottoms and i used them with our 3 youngest boys and plan on using them again :) AND they are very very resonable!!! Much cheaper and MUCH better!!!!

price wasn't something i was concerned for with my son.
don't get me wrong..we're on a TIGHT budget, but diapers were one thing i was willing to splurge on if they helped keep the leaks to a minimum!
i like pampers. most moms that i know use pampers. i only bought a few small packs of size N swaddlers. then, i started getting the "baby dry" style in the bigger sizes. they seemed a bit roomier than the swaddlers.
take care.
