....and I've not been for a long time (since Borat almost made me wet myself). So, what do you recommend? I'm willing to see anything as long as you can rate it highly as the kind of film that an occassional film-goer shouldn't miss on the big screen.

300..... awesome movie... just remember that it IS NOT a representation of actual events... it is made after a comic book. It is an awesome movie!!!!!

300 is fabulous. It's superbly acted and should probably be seen on a big screen.
Hot Fuzz is good but would be just as good on DVD whereas 300 i think lends itself to the bigger screen.

You have to see Hot Fuzz! Its hilariously funny! I was crying with laughter all the way through. Timothy Dalton is brilliant in it!!!
Going to see 300 tomorrow night, so hope thats good!!!

Go see 300, probably wont make you laugh but its definitely worth seeing in the cinema.

I haven't seen Hot Fuzz yet but Simon Pegg is in it and he is funny so i think it should be quite good have fun whatever you go and see and save me some nachos :)

The Hill Have Eyes 2 is supposed to be good-we're going to see it Sunday night.First one was excellent!

for your own sake, dont go see Ghost Rider
I would recommend 300, probably 95% of people who saw it loved it.
