maybe they don't feel they have to dress to your exacting view of what a woman should wear.

Why do alot of straight women dress like guys? Why do lesbians always get stereotyped as the only females who dress like guys? I've seen plenty of butch straight women.

I think you are a bit mixed up love. I am a lesbian and most likely dress more feminine than you. You are sterotyping lesbians because you only notice the butch ones, you could walk past a lesbian in the street and think she was just another woman. We are not all butch.

Lesbians are more likely to dress for comfort and less likely to dress for men. So we're not gonna wear skirts and hooker heels just cuz some guy wants us to. But if our gf's want us to dress up for them.....well I'm sure most of us would be happy to comply....

Well, seeing as there is a large and healthy butch-femme lesbian community full of masculine and feminine women who can't get enough of one another, I'd say that it's working quite well for them.
And moreover, it's a style thing. They aren't trying to dress like guys- they're dressing like themselves, what's comfortable for them and they feel good in.

Some women feel comfortable dressing like that. It's called "new age" Lesbians- meaning there is the stud- the dominate lesbian. Then there is a Femme- the submissive lesbian. It doesn't get more clearer then that. So I say best answer goes to me ha ha
