I believe it was Aug 2008 that they recommended Iraq to take control of it's own destiny.
If they can't rise to the occasion by then they probably never will.
How long do you think we should babysit them?

You cannot surrender to a criminal gang; you just have to use police powers to arrest them and put them on trial.

It is a fundamentally foolish mistake to pretend to declare "war" on private citizens doing injury to other private citizens.

It is even more foolish to use a crime to declare a "war" on a sovereign state where the terrorist gangs were not very evident or influential, although they became so after the US invaded.

Perhaps we are now supposed to overlook the fact that the strongest enemy of the terrorists in the region was the very dictator which the US forces overthrew and had executed.

Then let's forget the fact that this very dictator was supported by the Reagan administration.

But the stupidest blunder and a sure sign of utter incompetence was perhaps the decision to treat a crime as an act of war - a transparent excuse for an ignorant fundamentalist president to try to pose as a "wartime president." He should have instead just taken some Viagra to prove to himself what a macho man he is.

At this point, the best decision would be to pack up and leave. We have already seen the flightsuited decider telling us "Mission accomplished."

When an autistic child bashes his head against the wall, the first step towards healing this behavior is to get him to stop bashing his head against the wall. That works better than continuing to beat your head against the wall in the hope that doing so will ease the pain caused by beating your head against the wall.

America first. Not Iraq. Not the UN. Not the Middle East. America. Put America first. Take care of America. Bring our troops and our dollars home. Not in 2008. Not in September 2007. Now. No more fudging. No more excuses. No more lies. Let's leave the Iraqis to deal with their problems in whatever way they will. We have problems to deal with at home. Americans have needs. Put America first. Out of Iraq NOW.

I think the date is one year from now.

The Democrat Party has a tradition of supporting everyone but America or the right moral side of any issue. They loved Communisim and the Soviet Union and China. They still love Fidel Castro. They loved segregation in the South. There biggest moral stand is the right to kill the unborn. What's scary about the party is that it can still command half the voters.

As far as the people who voted for the surrender, they surrendered on behalf of the Democrat Party as of the date of the vote.

What is the date that Bush has set to finally end our futile ridiculous propping up of the bloated Iraq welfare state so we can start focusing on solvable problems instead of going bankrupt fighting someone else's internecine civil war?

2047?

Hey Jerry B, you Cons are great war strategists. Iraq is twice the size of Idaho and after four plus years you still don't have have a plan to win the war. Great job!

They Don’t want us to surrender!
They just want to give Bush a black eye and get one of their own in the White House in 2008 so that they can truly serve the communist agenda.
They just want a tactical withdrawal. You know, step back and let our enemies gather their resources in order to become a real threat. At that point, our enemies will have enough money and weapons that they can surrender with pride.
