i am going to let my mom keep my son for like 4 days in may. she lives about 6 hours away from us and she never sees him. i trust her more than anything, but is my son going to think that i abandoned him? is he going to remember who i am after those 4 days? help please

Baby won't like it, but it will be good for him. If he doesn't get used to other people now...it will be a BIG problem when he is older.

It may be hard and confusing for him to understand at first, but he should be ok for 4 days. And he will remember you when you return. Try not to worry too much, as that will make it harder for you and him.

Yes he will remember you. Its 4 days hun not 4 months....... and he is only 4 months old. They adjust easy at that age.
If you want to keep your voice fresh in his mind for YOUR piece of mind........ Make a tape, Of you talking and singing for him. Let your mother play it . I couldnt leave my baby but thats just me......

He will be fine. He will remember you. They only have a few minute memory span as it is, yet he remembers you every morning when he wakes up right?? Dont worrry. If you trust your mom, everything will be fine.
