The 70's music takes me back to a kinder, gentler time.
I'm soooo sick of the constant "smack that booty,pimps-n-hoes,and,pull your g-string down south, stuff they play now !

No I love the 50's, 60's and 70's music and I'm only 29, I even still play records I think the music from these eras are amazing, the songs all told stories and you could just sit back and let the record play

No! I love oldies. It just means that we have a good taste for music. Back in the day they used to jam. Today we can no longer get good quality music. That's where I turn when I'm tired of hearing the same songs played over and over again.

No not at all it just that some time with age you begin to wind down from the things that you listen too. Meaning that the more you mature everything mature with you. But it might be that that what kind of mood you are in also. I find myself listening to old music that because some of the music comes from my childhood, or music that my older family members use to listen ans i liked it. So that does not means you are getting old you are just MATURING haha. chow

well youre older than me and i love the oldies station here in Pittsburgh. I really started liking them in the early 90's when i both worked in a pizza shop that always played them and at the same time had a girlfriend who was into oldies as well. i got hit on both sides lol.

If you remember when the songs came out, that only makes you classic, not old. Liking the music alone doesn't make you either. I listened to oldies rock when I was in middle school.

No! It means that quality of music today is worse than it was years ago. It is also possible that you have a taste for music. I liked classical music when I was 10. That didn't mean that I was getting old!

No no no no... If you're like me, it is the only station that comes in clearly. All of the other stations have some sort of disturbance... makes the music sound all garbled and the beat is off somehow.

oldies like the 50's?

i like listening to them because that music takes me to a time i never knew, where life had to be less stressful than it is today...i imagine and long for the innocence of those times..
