Trade him to the GIANTS, baby!!!
The guy doesnt wanna be in Chicago anymore, and the Giants desperately need another linebacker.

I would say trade him only if a decent offer is on the table. Quite frankly the Skins offer mirrors the Thomas Jones deal. You give up a player and pick for a better pick. Hey Rosenhaus where are the 5 suitors for Briggs??? I can barely see one out there you lying POS. Angelo offered to rescind the tag if he stayed and got his long term deal with upwards of $20 million in guarantees and Briggs declined. I say keep him tagged for the next two years and let him rot on the sideline. Briggs would be nothing without Urlacher and a great front 4. GIVE ME A BREAK, there is a reason why he was a 3rd round pick!!!! Anyone who gives up anything for Briggs will regret it, AND anyone looking to play a 3-4 Defense will be let down severely.

Well, as he is refusing to ever play for the Bears again, the best thing they could do is trade him for the best price they can get. If the Redskins are really interested in him, then the Bears have a good chance to get a very good deal. Especially since Danny Snyder tends to overpay for anyone that he feels would help his team. Once he's gone (and he will be if he holds to his 'never ever' stance), they can use a first day pick and a second day pick if they like on a linebacker to groom as a replacement.

Release him. There is no other way. Both the Bears and Lance Briggs are stubborn. Realesing him is the only way to get rid of him.

Briggs said he wanted to be "the man" on whatever team he plays for...just like Urlacher is "the man" on the Bears. They should trade him to a lousy team...I hear the Redskins are interested....

Trade his unhappy ***. I just don't know why people can't play out a contract, escpecially a 7 million dollar contract. Like he said, he would have to get a loan and hold out. What the hell has he done with all his money? Hell most people could make 7 million last two lifetimes.

Im a life long Bears fan and i say trade him to the Redskins for the 6th pick in the 1st round... Then trade our 1st pick and another later pick to get Calvin Johnson.

Trade him! They don't want to give him a long term deal, so they should trade him so they can both move on. The Bears make silly personnel moves, and thats because they are who we thought they were!

They should keep him just out of spite. They should take out a year of his prime to sit on the bench just to make him angry. That would be so funny.
