Im on the shot and I had sex 2 weeks ago and the other night I had an orgasm and it gave me a very nasty labor like cramp with wrap around back pain for about 5-10 min. also this week I've been very bloated and gassy. I havent had a period since June I believe from the shot. Could the pain and the bloating be a sign???

I am a mother of 2 so I do know what labor is like. I had both of my kids w/o drugs.

Your period is stopped because of the shot unless you were at least 7 days late getting one then you are probably not pregnant. Call your doctor and tell them what is going on so he can advise you on what to do. You can also go to the pfizer web site and there is a 24 hour hotline where you can talk to nurses and doctors who specialize with the shot. Good Luck

I've been on the shot and once i a while i would feel the same way...i would realize it would come around the same time as when i had a period before the shot... i asked the same question to a few friends who were on the shot...they told me it's normal because they would feel the same way...they also told me if i was still concerned to take a pregnancy test or just wait until the next shot when they test you before you can get another

Its very common on the shot to not get your period, or to just have light spotting. I got pregnant on the shot, so I would take a pregnancy test to make sure.

first of all whoa who chit in sara's wheaties this morning? down girl! yes it is possible to get pregnant on the shot if that is what you want to know. However your real answer to if you are pregnant does await you in the form of taking a test.
