Be nice if you had a clue--- most of what you state is incorrect.
Bush most certainly tries to tell us how to live-- Patriot act, ban gay marriage, no flag burning.
How have libs looked in your bedroom-- if anything cons are more included to do so.

People who have no idea what the budget of the United States is think that too much gets spent on welfare and that their taxes are going into other people's pockets. The reality is that this money comes from millionaires--more than half the tax dollars come from ten percent of the people! Also, people hear about $20 million getting spent on a project to help poor people, and have no idea how small an amount of money that is in the big picture.
I don't know where the 'tax and spend democrats' idea comes from--tax hikes on working people are usually small and both parties do them. Usually the Republicans spend more than Democrats. But the Democrats spend on things that make a lot of people angry.
That's where the ideas come from. This guy went way too far with them--if he thinks we have anything close to a socialist society, he really doesn't understand how the Soviets operated. And before he tries to tear up the New Deal, he should probably remember what we had before that--a bunch of poor people who can't find work, because the companies can't hire them because no one can afford to buy their stuff. In short, before the New Deal, we had free market capitalism, and it was a total failure--just like soviet socialism. I think we'll find the best solution in between the two -isms.
When did anyone look in bedrooms--the last time I heard about keeping the government out of the bedrooms it was a pro-gay argument? I don't think either side is trying to limit adult relations behind closed doors.

I guess the Soviet Union did keep its finances secret while the Democrats openly push an Iraq War Bill that would fund things like $74 million for peanut storage, $124 million for the shrimp industry and $25 million for spinach producers. The Soviet Union also valued the lives of their military soldiers while the Democrats just see another way of getting a large kickback. You can compare just about any country from the past or present and they would look conservative against a party of war profiteers.

The far left is a scary thought isn't? What really scares the crap out of me is that Moveon.org is a political far left machine that is exploiting moderate Democrats. This powerhouse is run by those under the auspices of George Soros a well known super lefty.
Moveon.org owns each Democratic candidate through huge donations so in the end what they say goes. They have gone as far to threaten Democratic candidates to spew there ideology or they will twist the minds of their faithful against them.
THIS IS ONE SCARY BUNCH and I will not vote democrat because even if they appear moderate now in the end the far left will get what they paid for.
God Bless

A very long time ago, a truly great American Senator by the name of Joseph McCarthy did something few politicians have the fortitude to even try ----- he proposed a solution to one of America's biggest problems, even though it was not a politically advantageous move.
No good deed goes unpunished. McCarthy tried to save America, and all he got was an "...ism" named after him. More than half a century later, the communists have infiltrated our nation's schools, universities and media organizations to such an extent that roughly half the country's voters would CHOOSE to live in the USSR over the good 'ol US of A.
If only we'd have listened...

LOL indeed. You don't even know the difference between communism and facism! (nor how to spell the words!). Are they just labels you throw around? Did you ever acutually read up on either system--did you ever even look in a political science text to see the definitions?
I'm really not making fun of you--but seriously, you aren't going to convince any one unless you at least learn something about a topic before you start sounding off about it.
But by sheer accident you are right about the Soviets being conservative: they created what in practice was a conservative society--one thatexcluded women and minorities from power, restricted religious freedom, and sanctioned dissent. It was extremely hierarchical, denying opportunity to anyone not "approved of --" and their government saw the rest of the world as natural enemies to be feared and despised.
Sounds just like the right-wing in America today! LOL

So, if liberals aren't intrusive, just how will liberal Sally "Nanny State" Lieber enforce the spanking ban she wants here in California? But hey, what's a little more government telling people how to raise their kids.
It won't stop real child abusers, anyway.
And socialized medicine won't be free. It'll mean higher income taxes. We pay too much already.
