I've had my car for 3 yrs now and still have 2 1/2 yrs to go. Never late on payments.

you can trade it in and roll in the reaminder of the lease (negative). You will have to look at a brand new car with good rebates.

In the future NEVER sign a lease over 3 years

Fulfill your obligations. Next time, don't commit to such a long deal.

Some dealers may work with your lease company to buy out, but the added cost will make is impossible to ever pay off the new vehicle.

Check out leasebusters.com. Never tried it, but I'm told that they take over leases from those that are interested in getting out.
