First of all congrats!!!!! What you are feeling is normal, the reason that you feel discomfort in your ribs is because the baby is feet up head down, and your baby is actually kicking you in the ribs! To relieve this the best thing to do is sleep proped up with pillows behind you, this can also help to keep your BP stable because the baby is not laying directly on your major blood vessels. Also you can try laying on either side and that should help also. Another thing to try is, if you want to get your baby to sleep when you do try playing some very soft music on you stomach(not to loud;) and this may lull your baby to sleep when you do. Congrats again. ;)

... I have to semi-sit up to fall asleep comfortably. It looks a little funny and your neck might be a little sore in the a.m., but it was the only way I could get to sleep. Is it heartburn? Take some tums, it could be gas or something. Hope you feel better.
