Political leaders, not the farmers or the industry community nor the statesmen or women are before us with questions all sorts of which the yahoo site is dominating for last few days. Now the internet medium, hetherto the domain area of the experts is being utilized by the partisanpoliticians !!!
These dirty politicans are not bothered for the cause of the pesants or that for the industry, They require only political mileage out of some issues. In their life time they never made a 'night stay' in a village nor they have ever taken interest in the village life and its people.
Pesants in India is in a delicate situation. Cost of their cultivation has gone up but the produce is sold at distress-sell price. Dependence on a tiny land may not feed the whole family which has increased . The new generation is now educated to find some other professsion but no industry in the vicinity.
Day old land use pattern has not changed, nobody asked for land reforms and advance technology in agricult

In theory, everything and anything could be possible. Highlighting known problems may just be an indication of direction but no solution. We all talk a lot, as an individual what are we committed to contribute regularly? It is not only the government - particularly when it is not functioning properly, each one of us has to make a positive contribution in whatever sincere way we can. Ask yourself first - what is your commitment and positive contribution to the people of India inspite of all your odds, ifs and buts........

Yes. I agree with you.

Think of the following.

75% of Indian Population is in remote villages.
Villages do not have industries.

They have only
unemployed population,
uncultivable land
land holding will be nothing or held in uneconomical size
scarce water resources
and
no technology
and
not enough finance

Therefore,
I am of the opinion that India can become a superpower
only with the help of progress in Agri Sector

I am also of the opinion that the Govt. should give
utmost importance to Agriculture.
especially the poor people or Agricultural labors

The Govt. should
solve all the above problems

and

also provide still more facilities that

solve the problems in the long run

like

introduce a one year diploma course in agriculture
which can be studied after class 10

open atlleast 2 or 3 agricultural colleges at district level

to teach modern techniques in agriculture to alteast
1000 students in each district every year

After 5 years India will have knowledgeable and qualitative agricultural labours in all the villages

who can improve the quality of agriculture in India
their awareness will be much more than what is today.

as regards finance

the Banks and other lending institutes
should be told to provide atleast

25% of their credit to Agriculture
with loans only less than 2 lakhs
only to small farmers
in the form of seeds, fertilisers and equipments
debit cards to pay for only water and electricity

all banks private, foreign and public
should contribute to financing agri sector

$$$$$$$$$$

Now ............. if you dont mind

think of the following
.............. .......... share of
Agriculture in the country's growth should be atleast 40%
and
Industry 40%
and
Services 20%

Politicians 0%

Only then

India will not have uneven growth ..............

like now ...........that is
having many persons in the ............. World's Billionaires List
and having many crores in the ........... the world's poorest list

instead .............. we will have many crores of poor Indians coming out of poverty ...............

and having a hut ....or a roof house, atleast 6 dresses to wear in a year, and atleast 2 meals every day.
This only is the Real Growth of the country................

Can any one say no to this..................

Whoever says so ........... does not have heart .............
and
Such people should be preapred to go to the remote villages and suffer along with the people below the poverty line.

Growth for Industries at 40% and Services Sector at 20% are quite reasonable.

Politicians need not have growth.

They should be highest paid ......... in the country..........
and they should be severely dealt with ...........
for misuse of power or corruption.

Our democracry is the most misused in the world ......

We require lot of political corrections.....
right from the political system.....
thats another area to deliberate for the decades to come

Thanks

!!!!

Political leaders are sole whole responsible for the development & criticism of the country. They are the God fathers provided they actually love their country and look for the further development. The agriculture & industries being base of Indian develoment are inter dependent, If politics also become a part of it then no body can stop India from being a developed country.India has its own ethics, rituals & culture which is world famous. The politians need to be more focussed for the development of the country which can be done by educating the peasants & farmers and should try to be a part of countrys development instead of filling their own pockets n accounts.

No. To my mind, Agriculture should have a fair share of growth in comparison to industry which should be equal if not more for it is agriculture which provides raw material to industry to manufacture processed and finished goods. And there should be no room for politics. It is only politics in this nation that has done more harm than anything else undermining investment. Growth of agriculture has suffered more than its counterpart, industry. It would be highly appropriate and justified if politicians are not taken seriously if they are not serious about the burning issues before the people, the society, the nation and the world. The politicians are only in existence because people desire and decide them to tackle the serious issues first over and above anything else, least their dirty politics undermining every other thing. Many of the problems of the peasantry have arisen because of inherent social issues like small parcels of land due to family expansion, miseries, poverty, famine, loss of inputs, exploitation by village financiers, landlords and other sundry problems. Even the land reforms post-independence have not been taken up seriously thereby depriving the landless people. That's why many peasants have been reduced to farm labour with small wages or no wages with little sustenance and subsistance. This is only leading to suicide by the helpless farmers in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, which is still not able to wakle up the government of the day to think of doing favourable planning for the diminishing peasantry. It is still not too late if the Planning machinery of the government wakes up to pay more attention in terms of capital investment at par with the industry which is supported by lax taxation, laws, easy credits, duty draw backs, best prices for their produce locally, nationally and internationally with all short of encouragement since the industry is highly organised and able to influence the national budget, legislation, taxation in its favour whereas the agriculture is in its worst deplorable state, manpowerwise, capital input-wise, government support-wise whose policies are anti-agriculture, anti-peasantry. Inputs are very costly beyond the scarce means of the peasantry. The official picutre put up by the government before the public is rosy, glamorous and shiny. The real story is otherwise full of sorrows and despair.
