Both my guppy and swordtail had babies the other night ive never as yet seen baby swordtails and am dying to see some. would i be able to tell the difference a few days old? cos i always thought my swordtails would come out orange as the mum is and the dad is orange and silver. Or do all baby fish have no colour to them when they are first born? thanx for replying. x

Very few fish show much color as babies. This is particularly true of small livebearers. Give it a few weeks and you will be able to see the difference.

guppies are tiny. Not sure about sword tail babies..but guppies are real hard to see with the naked eye..they kinda blend in.
