I'm 23 and trying to conceive ...although we tried quite a bit after my last period (which started on March 2) but I guess I didn't ovulate (I tracked it with OPK). However, I've been getting cramps since 2 days ...could it be my period again or I might be pregnant? Is there any science that says women in their 20's can conceive relatively easier?

The younger you are does make it easier to conceive. Women are born with all the eggs that they will ever produce. After you have used all your eggs, you have menopause. Anyway, the younger you are, the younger your eggs are, which makes them more likely to become inseminated. If you didn't ovulate, you can't become pregnant.

No it is not always true. Everyone is different, it is said that a woman is most fertile in her 20s but that doesn't mean she will conceive easily. One of my best friends was married in her 20s and early 30s, no birth control, no "protection" during her marriage but never conceived. It wasn't until she was 50 un married, one night stand that she DID finally conceive...we are all individuals and so are our bodies.
