For lunch today I had:
Fried chicken livers
Collard Greens
Fried Okra
Corn on The Cob
And some Peach Cobbler!!
God it was soooo god!!!!!
Oh...and in my book Redneck is pretty much a good thing :o)

All that food sounds good except for the livers, greens, and okra. Just because you eat something, doesn't make you a redneck. Being a redneck is actually an insult the way some people use it.

A nice cooked southern meal does not make you a redneck. It sounds like a good old fashioned okie meal. Which is very tasty. However, most rednecks around these parts are pretty much idiots.

Only if you also live in a mobile home, have a 4x4 that is worth more than your home, have a gun rack in the back window of the truck, Know the difference between your yard dogs and your hunting dogs (to valuable to run loose like the yard dog). And at least know than when a redneck talks about 'shine, they aint referrin to the sun.

I must be one too, I love fried chicken livers and fried okra, corn on the cobb, and if I could get a really good recipe for peach cobbler that is my favorite, I like mine with thick chewy dough! oh gosh I'm starving♥

Hmmm. I had half a poppy seed bagel, 1/4 cup strawberry flavoured cultured soy, and a chai tea, all while reading the Globe and Mail. Guess that makes me a nerd - which is just fine in my books.

Sounds fantastic to me...I am from the south and that is a great meal...Wish I had had that....Not Redneck at all.... If you had eaten Road-kill....that you picked up and took home and cooked you might be a Redneck...
