Now why does THAT bother you when there are so many CLOWNS in the Republican Party..... we even have one acting and parading himself off as the President!
We had another bad actor playing the part of bad but charismatic President a while ago... Reagan... and now we have Bonzo, HIS chimp as President... ah, but there's one fat TV actor (Fred Thompson) trying to run for President... isn't THAT a joke in and over itself? How about Fred Grandy (actor from "Love Boat" series that played the character, "Gopher") and what about good ol' Sonny Bono (formerly of Sonny & Cher fame)? Don't forget the Governator... "What out!!!"

Al Franken really poses no threat, as far as his politics is concerned; You're correct, he used to be a comedy or gag writer...he's a pimp, and shouldn't quit his day job! He has about as much influence in Liberal politics as the man in the moon... Even Michael Moore is currently a pimple on the butt of Liberal policies....the major left-wing radical players we must be aware of are George Soros & Peter Lewis...multi-millionaires who seriously back & pour money into many radical left- wing causes...we ingore people like this at our own peril!!!

Just becuase he had another career doesn't make him smart.
Reagan was an actor and became an effective politician.
Arnie Schwarzenegger was a body builder/actor-- he's doing ok as govenator.
We need MORE people running for office who don't have political or law backrounds. We need more rational business people and folks from different backgrounds. Many of the founding fathers were something other than lawyers.

No. 50% of liberals (well, democrats anyway) wish that these types of people would go away (including Al Gore).
The really sad thing is that he was NEVER funny. Remember Stewart Smally?

Actually, no. I don't think Al Franken is qualified to be a politician.
Now, maybe if he'd been in a lot of movies where he was blowing people's brains out... he might be qualified to be the Republican governor of California.

If you don't live in Minnesota than there is nothing you can do about it. Just because he is running doesn't mean he will win. The good people of Minnesota will decide who will represent them not you and not I.

It's O.K. if a Liberal actor wants to run for office, just not a Conservative one.

well, since so many soldiers died in wars to protect his right to bad mouth anyone he wants, I would think you support that. No? Oh well, then just go and report this.
