this puter is a Toshiba Laptop model A105-S4397. It has a 15.4 Screen, Intel Centrion Duo , 1024MB Memory, and 160 GB Hard Drive. Is this a good deal for 898, or should I keep looking? What does satalitte ready mean? Also what is the difference between a lap top and a notebook?

a laptop and a notebook are the same thing. that is an ok deal, I would go on eBay to buy one, you can get one there with the same specs for $200 cheaper!

First of all this is a good price for a laptop. Toshiba is also a very good company. So 898$ is a reasonable price and the specs are good. You can go to www.dell.com to customize your own laptop/notebook.

Your 2nd Question, There is no difference between laptop and notebook. They're just two different name for an item.

Hope this was helpful
