My fiance has started going bald these last couple months and sometimes he gets so down about it and i try to tell him how beautiful he is. I don't know what to say to him to make him feel better he doesn't believe in the Rogaine and such products. He doesn't think they would work. I want to help him because i can imagine how horrible it must feel he thinks he will lose me and that i will only stay with him because i feel i have to but he really still looks great.

That's a tough one. He sounds like he's really depressed about it and doesn't want to deal with the "rejection" so to speak if Rogaine or a related product doesn't work. He should really give them a chance.

But short of shaving his head or wearing hats 24/7, it's just a part of life. My boyfriend is 23 and already going gray, but he loves it. I mean heck, you're engaged to him, if he's really thinking you're going to leave him over a couple hairs, he needs to evaluate his self esteem.

Good luck to you and him!

Brush off his moods with a quick "I'm not so shallow that I care about your hair enough to leave you".

Encourage him to keep the hair short. As it thins, going to a buzz cut will look very good.

The fact is, hair loss is almost always genetic, and he can't do a thing about it. Rogaine has to be used every day forever, and is hugely expensive. It also isn't necessarily successful.

He needs to accept his body. He may be grieving for his loss of youth if he's now in middle age - in which case, you have to accept that people do grieve not just for death but also for changes in their own lives, and you have to let him work his way through it. Avoid ANY mention of hair, good or bad - because either way he'll focus on the baldness. (For example, don't ask him how your new cut looks - he's just going to think "she's really saying I'm going bald").

Actually he's probably feeling that he is Less of a man - if he's going Bald, when in actuality going Bald is an indication that he has ALOT of testosterone
Testosterone = Maleness
It means he is an Alpha Male according to this theory below:
Evolutionary theories of male pattern baldness

Gorillas evolved anatomically enlarged foreheads to convey increased status and maturity. There is no consensus regarding the details of the evolution of male pattern baldness. Most theories regard it as resulting from sexual selection. A number of other primate species also experience hair loss following puberty, and some primate species clearly use an enlarged forehead, created both anatomically and through strategies such as frontal balding, to convey increased status and maturity. The assertion that MPB is intended to convey a social message is supported by the fact that the distribution of androgen receptors in the scalp differs between men and women, and older women or women with high androgen levels often exhibit diffuse thinning of hair as opposed to male pattern baldness.

One theory, advanced by Muscarella and Cunningham, suggests baldness evolved in males through sexual selection as an enhanced signal of aging and social maturity, whereby aggression and risk-taking decrease and nurturing behaviours increase.(1) This may have conveyed a male with enhanced social status but reduced physical threat, which could enhance ability to secure reproductive partners and raise offspring to adulthood.

In addition consider this:

Some balding men may feel proud of their baldness, feeling a kindred relationship with famous charismatic bald men such as Larry David, Billy Corgan, Yul Brynner, Vin Diesel, Michael Chiklis, Telly Savalas, Sean Connery, Ross Kemp, Jason Alexander, Danny De Vito, Ben Kingsley, Patrick Stewart or Bruce Willis; or politicians such as Ed Koch, John Reid, Menzies Campbell and James Carville; or sportsmen such as wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin, footballers Zinedine Zidane, Bobby Charlton or tennis star Andre Agassi. Much of these celebrities' perceived masculinity and handsomeness derives from their most obvious distinguishing feature. Baldness has, in recent years, in any case become less of a (supposed) liability due to an increasing fashionable prevalence of very short, or even completely shaven, hair among men, at least in western countries.

I personally think that bald men can be very sexy! Maybe cause a baldhead Kinda looks like a....

Hi there,
This is a good guide with a step-by-step method to get your hair back http://hairagain.toptips.org

Male hair loss is the most common type of hair loss. It's caused by increased sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in certain parts of the scalp, and is passed on from generation to generation. There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall. You can try to regain your full head of healthy hair by following natural methods: they are cheaper, they have no side effect and very often more effective than conventional one.

As said above an interesting guide you can follow to get your hair back and prevent future hair loss without dangerous chemicals and drugs, and without expensive supplements or painful hair transplants is available on this site: http://hairagain.toptips.org
Bye Bye

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tr.im/U44Fq
While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/iKiVT

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

I'm a hetero guy, but based on your pics i think you're fine dude, and could get lots of chicks. I think you should keep shaving your head, you wear it well; it's fine, stay in shape and beautify the inside of you with meditation and practicing kindness, compassion, gratitude. See, i'm quite lean but i find a lot of women like men that have some weight on them. They envy my body, but that's different than wanting it. One last thing, i find actually meeting people works better for me than dating sites. Maybe it's just me... i'm good with people and tend to draw them to me publicly, maybe some people would do better with online dating sites but i don't do as well. Best of luck!
