"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man."

It seems to me that the Democratic Party from which JFK came no longer exists. Why is that?

Who knows. Both parties have become very different than they were years ago. Dems in the 60's were further right thant today. They were more about responsiblity and service to one's country. The R's were different also. In some respects, they were more to the left then today (on certain issues) and more to the right (on other issues).

Even staunch conservatives like Goldwater are not like those of today.

Even folk like MLK and Mal X were more about people being more responsible.

Because the once honorable Democrat Party has now been hi-jacked by the left-wing, socialist, marxist, liberal, hate-America, pacifist, terrorist-sympathizing, blame-America-first, free-love, fonda-loving, wack-jobs.

Our government was worth trusting then. Bush and Cheney have destroyed the fundamental beliefs of our country. Kennedy never would have entered into a war of aggression and destroyed the beliefs that our country was founded on. .
