My contract is set to expire and I am now eligible to upgrade my phone. I'm looking for a phone that gets good, clear reception. I don't necessarily need all that fancy stuff...mp3 player, bluetooth, etc. I prefer a flip phone. Anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience?

I have Cingular and have checked with lots of different people and almost everyone I talk to really loves their Motorola Razr phone. When my plan expires, I plan to upgrade to the Razr since I hear so many friends really like that phone. But I've heard that Verizon has the best reception from all the carriers, so I'm tempted to switch to Verizon since I have so many dropped calls with Cingular. Go Figure!
If you go to the following link, you can either upgrade your phone and plan with Cingular and get a really good deal on the cell phone with an upgrade. Or you can get a FREE Motorola Razr by switching to a Verizon or T-Mobile plan. I've heard T-Mobile with the Razr phones are real good too, no dropped calls like I get with Cingular.

The best thing with Cingular is they use SIM cards which means you can take your Sim out and put it into any phone that excepts a Sim such as a Tmoblie phone. That allows to explore other brands!

you may call Cingular and ask them for an extensive invoice and that they are going to deliver you one each and each month on your account. That way you may locate all incoming/outgoing calls as nicely as how long the call became for and all those different information.
