Its funny you mention purple and yellow. I painted my house yellow with lavender trim. It was beautiful!!! I love the combination of red and green. A little green with a hint of red, very nice!

I like the combinations of blue and white in the summer, Pink and brown in the fall, and pink and white in the spring.

If you check a colorwheel online, you'll see that complimentary colors are colors that are on the opposite sides from each other, for example orange and blue-green are on opposite sides, thus complimentary. I can't say I like that combination, but that is just my opinion. I actually prefer the bruised look: Black and Blue. Black jacket with jeans.

I adore sea green. Especially with white- it's fun but still stylish. Another combination is sky blue with chocolate brown. Gorgeous!!

I love light blue and white. Very fresh and innocent looking color combination.

Yellow & khaki or orange & khaki is also nice.

And ofcourse black goes with everything...so I wear that a lot with different colors.

I prefer earthy tones, like browns and greens. Yep, brown and green is a great color combination ( and I mean like an olive green.)

I love to use Black pink and white its so cute together.
Also offwhite and brown ro for that matter pradctically any color with brown.

For fall/winter, chartreuse green and brown; for spring/summer, hot red or coral with olive green.
