because we are filled with love, compassion, and generosity. more so than any other country on god's green earth!
people, whatever your political affiliation is, how can you dispute that we as a nation help most of the people in the world? we feed everyone and give medicine too. my heart breaks at what the democrat/libs have made people think of our great nation.

I guess it's that most of us don't actually own AK-47s and usually when there's something to celebrate, we do it with a parade and/or fireworks.
Did you ever notice all the rubble on the street in the background when they show those clips? Or the holes in the walls of buidlings?

In a sense some do. Like burning an American soldier in effigy.......same mindset sans the firearms (only because we have laws against discharging weapons in public).

We could, but the cops would arrest us for firing the guns in the air. Plus we are smart enough to know that bullet has to go somewhere when it comes back down and would hate to see an innocent bystander injuried.

It seems quite idiotic to me to dance around a burning flag. I prefer just sitting around a nice campfire with my lady and a nice conversation.

Because we were raised in the Land of the Free. Most of us are tolerant of differing viewpoints and we don't get our panties in a wad when things don't go our way. We know that however many problems we have, this country is still great and our opinions count.

I think you can add seizing ships that come even close to our US waters. When you think of a civilized person, you certainly don't think of those missing links!! At least I don't!!

In terms of patriotism, America is a lot more apathetic than other nations. We don't riot every time political power changes hands, or go on murdering rampages. I guess we're more civilized?
