I recently posted a question about weather I was pregnant or not. We would love to have a baby and my symptoms sound promising but I have took another pregnancy test and again it was negative. Yesterday I started having lower back pain and abdominal pressure (not the usual cramps that I get monthly just pressure) and I still have them.Last week I had some brown spotting and I had a little today but nothing major. I do not feel as if I am getting ready to start and now I am almost 4 weeks late!! I'm not sure what to think! I'm open to listen to all opinions.

Have you gained a lot of weight lately? Or lost a lot? Sometimes you can have irregular periods because of poor thyroid function of PCOS. It's best to check with your doctor. If the test is negative, they will probably want to do blood tests to check your thyroid and glucose levels. Best of luck!

I would say you need to make an appointment to see your OBGYN and ask for a blood test to be done. You could very likely be pregnant and the spotting is implantation bleeding, I've also heard of women experiencing cramping during implantation. You could also have what is called a chemical pregnancy where an embryo did implant but something is wrong with it and now your body is trying to miscarry. Either way you really should go to your doctor.

I would suggest going to the doctor, they can do blood tests, or an ultrasound to find out if you are pregnant. The more you stress, the later your cycle will be, so try to relax, call your doc and get an appointment.
I did not test positive with a pee test for 3 of my 5 pregnancys.

I would say you need to go and have a blood test done. If you took the test with your 1st morning urian and it came out negative and your 4 weeks late a blood test from your doctors office will show if you are pregnant or not. It took me about 5 months to get pregnant. Now I am about 8 weeks pregnant with my 1st child. I have known friends that skip months with their cycle. Please contact your doctor and see if they can see you soon so you can get a blood test done.

Good luck and best wishes.

If you've taken the tests first thing in the morning and they're still negative, I would most definitely go to the doctor. They can give you an examination as well as the test, so if you're not pregnant, they can tell you why you're late.

If you are 4 weeks late, and tested negative then most likely you are not pregnant.
Our bodies can play tricks on us, when we want to be so badly, you body will mimmick, I know it is cruel. If you relax, I bet you will start.
Have you gone to your doctor?Call and ask for a blood test.
If you are not there is always next month........I know it is hard not to think abou it, I am trying to believe me.....it is almost my every waking thought....but you have to relax..........it will happen.
Try charting your temps, and maybe get an ovulation predictor ...........
IN the mean time.......try some supporting sites, like twoweekwait.com!!

Sorry... you probably want a quick answer but i have to agree with the other lady. If your test still says negative go to the DR. they will give you a blood test and tell you for sure... but you have to wait for the answer. It took us a long time to concieve too but if your paitent hopefully it will happen. I now have 2 kids and the 2nd one i wasn't even trying for LOL.

I would contact your OB there could be something else going on you'd want to rule out any sort of infection or worse before you get preg.
