I met this girl at my best friend's wedding, she is his cousin.
We have been going out since then.
My friend returned from his honeymoon yesterday, he does not know about us.
Should I tell him about us SPECIFICALLY, or does it not matter?
I'm askig because they are really CLOSE.

i would tell him next time u see him, or ask the girl what she thinks you should do. maybe it would be better coming from you both?

Chances are that if they really are all that close, that she has already told him. But if not, it shouldn't be all that big of a deal to worry about. Love doesn't brag about it accomplishments or it isn't love. Read in the Bible I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. It isn't boastful or proud and always believes in the positive. It is such that it will gladly give its life to save the life of another. It says of faith, hope and love that the greatest is love. If you both have this kind of love, who is able to stand against it? This kind of love has kept my wife and I married for over 28 years in spite of all the opposition we had at first. If your best friend can't be happy about your relationship with his cousin, then he isn't much of a friend is he? It isn't really his business, but if you think it will keep peace between you, then go ahead and tell him.

Like Jessie said, I think you should both sit down with him and tell him about the two of you as soon as possible. Im sure he would be upset if he found out you had been seeing her without telling him. And if they are close, no doubt he will find out about the two of you anyway.

well if u are VERY good friends with him then go on and tell him, he should be all loved up from his wedding so he should be loving all the extra love going around, on the other hand you could get his cousin to do it, she might be able to make him see easier.

Why hide it. I am sure your friend wants his cousin to be happy to. I think if it were me I would like to my friend to say . Hey that cousin of yours is so nice we have been dating since your wedding. Just say it in the usual sense of conversation. Let hi hear it from you if possiable.

I think out of respect to your best friend you should let him know that you met a great girl that you care about completely. Then let him know its his cousin, its better he hears it from you than elsewhere. If he thinks highly of you then it shouldnt be a big issue

Is your girlfriend important for you? Do you want to have a longer relationship with her? If yes, tell him. Your best friend should know it and he is married now, or?? Fight for your own life and enjoy it!!

first of all if you want to date her do it, it is nt up to him. just go about it tactfully, for e.g im dating your cousin promise i will not hurt her in any way and will treat her good. dont hide it from him as he will find out and will be angry and upset for deliberately deceiving him. good luck in all this :)

tell him you got nothing to lose he will be more mad at you not telling him, and then just finding out! or ask her to tell him, or tell him together!!!!
