I don't think there are more than there ever were. I think they are just now free to tell people.

LOL...it's in the water. No really, it's just getting easier for us to come out. I wouldn't really say that society is accepting it. We still have a lot of hate out there. Some women like to dance all over other women (seen it at too many clubs) that are not lesbians. Actually, they are not even the least bit gay. You see more and more of it everyday. Some may do it for attention or for whatever "floats their boat". I don't know. For me, it was just because it got easier as I got older. It took me 28 years to come out even though I knew it all along. I knew it when I was 8 years old. Imagine that.

Nothing in the air, or water, or the food we eat. Just that people have become more open minded about homosexuality, and with the advent of technology that connects virtually everybody on the planet, you see and hear more from us. Should you really be that concerned about it? And yes, the proportion of gay population has not changed over the centuries.

Its humorous how each and each and each and all of the people livig in sin, make excuses for why what they are doing isn't a sin or undesirable. You the two have self perception in heaven and hell and God or u do not. If u don' then it particularly shouldnt count kind. If u do, appropriate there is ur answer. Logically does it even sound marvelous for a guy to have intercourse with a guy or vice versa. a woman often won't have the skill to penatrate yet yet another woman. yet as for adult men, u are transforming into desirable into an area that God did not advise which you will pass into. that are is for freeing fecal count kind, that section are won't have the skill to create babies, that's why we are think of to have intercourse indoors the eyes of God. specific its pleasuring, yet ultimately we are only to procreate. Watch each and each and each and all of the gay adult men have a venture with this. " God did not say that, have you ever seen God, the bible replaced into written over, who particularly is often used with what God mandatory) they are going to throw all that out....Thats nothin besides the shown fact that the devil at paintings attempting to persuade you he's extra advantageous. ANd optimum of have fallen to that area. :(

Its a more accepting society. We don't have to live behind closed doors anymore nor are willing to do so. There are no more gay people today than there were yesterday. Times have changed. Thank God!

Honey, we've been here since the beginning of time, but NOW we can actually stand up and be counted. (And there's even MORE gays and lesbians who are still silent). So, have some Evian or whatever you want - the water's fine! Have kids if you want! Nothing is 'making more' of gay - we've been all around you and waaay back from the earliest times.

It more accepted in society. I don't think the percentage of gay people is any higher than it was 1000 years ago.

There probably really are more gay people today than yesterday, and more tomorrow than there are today. The population is growing faster than it is dying off. Since we know a certain percentage of the population is gay, and since we also know that there are way more people today than whatever generic time frame the questioner is referring to, than, yes, there are more gays.
AND we are less afraid of coming out. Except Tom Cruise.

Society is changing - people just feel more comfortable about coming out.
Out of curiousity, where exactly are all these extra lesbians?

People are tired of hiding. Our lesbian foremothers, (Ellen DeGeneres, for example), have helped in making us a bit more visible. So maybe you are just noticing us because there is more about us in the media. We're not so hidden anymore.
