hi all, umm, can n e 1 tell me whats wrong wit a cpu, when it wont connect to the net. and then when it do,?

half way there i freezes, it dont even shut down right , it takes about 5-10 min b4 it shuts down. my cpu use stayes in the 90 percents as well. all this all statrted, when my nortons sercuritu was deleted and was repleced wit aol sercurity. so can n e 1 help me. o yes i did do to network connectons trick and the firewall trick. im so frustraighted that im bout to delete my hd and start over. should i do this, will this be good.

You have too many programs at startup.
start/run/msconfig start programs
uncheck as many as you can.You can exit the AOL security also briefly.
Control Panel/ Network connections/ LAN / repair.
Your net work tricks : what is the IP addresses and DNS addresses you used ?
Can you access 192.168.1.1 ?
