I wanted to the second I found out I was pregnant. As a vegan, concerned about what goes into my body, I was already concerned about what I did and didn't eat. However, I knew I didn't eat enough and didn't care. I just wanted to stay on the thin side whein I was't exercising. I was a bit too concerned about calories, still.
Now I just eat more of the good stuff, pretty much whenever I want. It's good for the baby, and even at 15.5 weeks, I've gained about five to ten pounds. (This morning the weight was 179, and I think it was still about 175 a month ago. Yet, I'm still fitting into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes, though I went through my skirts yesterday. Eh. I still have pants and size 14s from when I weighed more that I saved thinking ahead, even though it was about three years ago since I wore them, for pregnancy/baby.)
However, I just had a decent lunch and while I don't feel hungry, I want food. Go figure. I've always been a big eater if I let myself. Now I have license to do so. :-D

Yes, I hit 5 months a few days ago and for the last 2 weeks or so i've felt like I could eat Burger King Whoppers ALL DAY! lol, I even posted a question about it in this forum. Before now I've just had cravings for fruit, fish, and salads; so i'd mainly be eating ceasar salads, fruit, salmon and fish steaks all day (Kosher dill pickles too!) But ever since about 2 weeks ago I adopted this craving for a Whopper and ever since I swear I can eat them all day!

I just got past all my nausea and now all I want to do is eat. I have to control myself sometimes, because I'm afraid of gaining too much weight! I'm 12 weeks.

I think the second trimester is best for this because a lot of women don't feel well during the first trimester and in the third trimester, your stomach is so scrunched up from your growing baby that it doesn't take much to make you feel full after eating.
