we are planning to buy a house which will be 9 miles away from my current ob/gyn,I'm used to her & i like her,But the worst thing is the traffic .These 9 miles most of the times take 40min,Would that be o.k,confused if i had to change the doc..

i wouldnt change if i were you, your confortable with her, and shes knows you, your body, and your devloping baby, and that takes time, if you go into a new doctor shes not going to know what youve been through or anything.
my obgyn is 30 minutes away. i wouldnt change for anything.

Don't change your ob if you really like her. 9 miles is nothing. You will only be traveling to her office for regular visits unless something unforeseen occurs, which it usually doesn't. You will probably not be racing to the doctor or hospital like they do on tv.

My OB is 25 miles away and an hour by driving.

Mine is about 45 minutes to an hour away, kinda far I know. I wanted a midwife and that is the only place they had them. I think you should be fine, if you like her stay with her.

It's more important than the time it takes to get to her.

9 miles is fine...if you are comfortable with her...stay with her.
