Home remedies are the best all I do is warm up some water. Slice a lemon in half. Squeeze the half into my warm water and drink it straight until my drink is done. That is what I do all the time when I get a sore throat.

Hot tea with lemon and honey will soothe the sore throat.
To get rid of it quick, take extra Vitamin C (1000 mg) and also take some garlic (I buy the garlic oil capsules). That always works for me.

You can take the homeopathic remedy Mercurius. You can buy it in Vitamin Shoppe (if you have one near you). Dissolve 2 pellets in 4 oz. water and take one teaspoon every 1/2 hour until you feel better. Then take it less frequently until 100% good.
