if i had to choose...probably a wolf because he would be too focused trying not to drown that he wouldn't try hurting me although i am not so sure what i would do once across

I guess that would depend on whether I'd rather drown or be eaten. . .If the river wasn't too wide, I'd pick the wolf. If I didn't think the wolf could make it all the way across, I'd go with the croc. Drowning would not be my choice of ways to die.
