What do people think of unusual spelling of names? I personally prefer traditional spelling. The most unusual spelling I have seen is Jackson spelt Jaxsyn.

I cannot stand most names that are spelled differently. So many names are ruined by the crazy spellings.

I have a little girl now in my class who spells her name Dalilah. It drives me crazy that its not either Delilah or Dalila.

Oh, and Emmilleigh drives me insane. The father had it tatooed on his arm.

Shanen is a bad way to spell Shannon too. I always want to call her Shane-in.

I also don't care for 2 d's in Maddison either.

The worst would have to be this adorable little boy that had not so adorable parents. His name was Hayden...very cute BUT he spelled it Heydyn. The spelling of his name was the least of the problems though...

I am sure I have a million more if I just think about it. :)

Take Care. SD

I knew a girl named Danielle but she spelled it Dannieall. I also worked at a daycare and we had a woman come in to register her son. His name was pronounced Shi-thee-had, but was spelled S-h-i-t-h-e-a-d. I kid you not.
