You are assuming that the Iranian Navy ever ventures past the Straits of Hormuz.
No disrespect to the guys , but I doubt that they could find the River Thames on a sunny day leave alone sail up it.
The Qataries have been "arresting" Bahraini fishermen, who the Qataries say have crossed into their waters, for years now.
It is a game Navy types play here(The Arabian/Persian Gulf)to keep their troops on the ball.
Not much else for them to do.
As the old nursery rhyme goes " Leave them alone and they will come home wagging their tails behind them."
Let the press and Joe Public ignore the whole matter and it will quickly be settled.

Don't be silly. The sailors lifted by the Iranians didn't try to resist because they were outnumbered and outgunned, so fighting back would have been suicidal. Hostile ships in British waters would be attacked without restrictions.

There is no question of abducting a vessel in international water. Iran claims that the vessel was .5 kilometer inside the Iranian water. It may be mistake. In case of resistance there would have been unnecessary loss of lives. It is expected that issue will be sorted out through negotiations.

I dont thing you'd have to worry about it. The British navy would probably blow them out of the water before they got anywhere near the river, and even if they did manage to sneak past, they'd have to deal with the English civilians, whom I'm sure aren't too keen on Iranians right now.

They where in two rubber dingys with pistols and rifles whereas the iranians where in gun boats with rocket launchers and machine guns
it would not have been resistance it would have been suicide and the start of another war
