It largely depends on the condition of the coin and the color of the coin. Unfortunately all PCGS shows is the uncirculated grades for 1901 Indian Heads and I am assuming this coin has seen some circulation. If memory serves, a coin in a grade of fine will retail for around $5.00 or $6.00 dollars. That means a dealer might offer you half that and a collector might offer you $4.00 to $4.50.

The 1901 Indian head cent had a mintage of 79,609,158 so it is not a scarce coin. It is worth a $1.30 to about $2.25 in the spread of circulated grades good through very good. This is about what a dealer will pay. Hope this answers your question.

Actually the copper it is made of is worth more than one cent. Melt it down, you will get more for it from a recycling place.
