It sounds like you didn't know him well enough to be married to him in the first place, but with that said... do you love him? Can you look past his "mistakes" (they're not small mistakes)? You're pretty much the only one that can really answer your question.

Why did he kill someone is in lock up. I'll be honest the reason I would divorce is not because he don't have anything. but that he killed someone. People like that are dangerous and I would be very scared of him , if he killed once and got away with it , you can bet you sweet a**, he'll kill again. The next time it may you are your loved ones. Divorce him and move out of town or stay far away from him , he has homicidal mind and that is very dangerous. I'd hate to be in your shoes. MY Best Of Luck To you.

Yeah. If he did something that horrific (murder) you should have seen the writing on the wall WAY before you got married. Nobody should get married if they don't have anything. BOTH of you should be financially stable and "have things" before you get married anyway - plus personality flaws in him (beyond simple financial woes) should have clued you in long ago - but that's the past - as for the here and now? Yes divorce him - should be a no brainer.

You didn't mention what the circumstances are behind him killing someon. Was it self defense or cold blooded murder? That makes a difference. First you have to ask yourself , do you love him? Is this a man you could have children and grandchildren with?Do you trust him with your life? Be honest with your answers. You have to look inside your heart and answer the questions. THis is a question no one can really answer for yourself. Has he ever hit you or been violet toward you? If you want more out of life with a man you can trust then yes, move on.Is he any any programs to help him deal with his problems that led to what happened? Take care!

In theory, not having anything should not affect your decision to marry him. You married "for richer or poorer." Quite frankly, you sound like a money-grubber for even asking that part of the question.
On the other hand, if you are sharing your bed with someone who has already taken one life, then I don't know of too many people who would fault you for getting out of that.

So, you married him just because you thought he had money and possessions. I could see divorcing him if you thought his killing people might relapse, but saying that you divorced him for not having a lot of money...well, that makes you sound like a GOLD-DIGGER!

i think you need to protect and take care of YOU..... yes.
sometimes we don't take a good hard look at the person we are going to marry -- if you decide to marry again, make sure you know the person first.... and LOOK to see if his values, morals and life priorities and goals meet your expectations of someone you want to spend a lifetime with.
good luck
