I wouldn't. JD will be 1 next week and only takes a bottle at night. He doesn't want it any other time and hasn't since he was about 10 months old. He just wants regular food. We made sure he gets a lot of veggis, fruit, bread, and other stuff... I wouldn't worry too much. Just be careful with juices because of all the sugar, we just give him that baby water and he's good to go! :o) Good Luck to you, your little girl is growing up fast.... :o)

At 9 months old, the majority your baby's nutrition should still be coming from formula or breastmilk. She should be drinking 16-24 ounces a day. Try cutting back on the solid food you are giving her. Offer the formula in a sippy cup with her meal (just as you would have a beverage during your meal).
You don't mention how long this has been going on, but chances are it is temporary.
If nothing changes, and you're still concerned, bring it up at her next well baby check.

10 oz's a day is not really enough. Babies under 12 months get most nutrients and stuff they need from formula/ breastmilk. Food and juice intake is not nearly as important. My daughter is 9 months old and my doctor wants her to eat 24-32 oz's per day in addition to her baby food and cereal.
Although every once in a while there will be a week where she doesn't eat as much. They said that is okay that sometimes she just isn't hungry. But not for long periods.
I would talk to her doctor and see what they suggest. I know I have a schedule and i always give her the bottle first, then the baby food. That way she gets the nutrients she needs.

If your daughter is drinking formula out of a cup, I wouldn't worry about a bottle, one less habit to break.
I think your daughter may need more formula than 10 oz of formula a day, check to see if this is enough, either from your doctor or WIC .
I found this web site that may help you. It says your baby needs 24-31 oz of formula a day. Solid foods should be in addition to formula or breast milk for the first year, not as a substitute.

My breastfed daughter is doing the same thing. One day she just flat out didn't want to take a bottle, and she's the same age. The doctor checked her out and found out that it's a behavioural issue. I suggest you check with your doctor, but from my experience, keep working with her with either a cup or the bottle, or integrate milk into the solid foods. I also would feed her such foods as YoBaby, which has a good fat/protein ratio. Giving her fruits will help with the dehydration issue. Basically he told me that we can't make a baby drink milk, so try and sneak it in and feed her nutrient dense solids since she is close to a year.

No. That's actually a good thing. She took the bottle away from herself. My son recently turned 11 months and I'm in the process of taking away his bottle. I've know introduced the sippy cup and he likes it. If she's gaining weight don't worry just offer her a sippy cup.

My daughter went throguh the same phase when she was about 10 months... She could just be staying full on her food and doesnt want any milk.... I stayed worried thinking she would dehydrate so I would give her milk to her with a spoon or straw..... because the sippy cup didnt work.

My baby is 17months old now and he quit taking his bottle at 9 months. so i would fix his meal and give him a sippy cup with milk in it so he would still be getting the nutrients and things he needed out of the milk.

Its a phase my son did this not long ago. Offer it to her in a sippy cup. However my son stopped wanting his formula and when he did take it, it would be small amounts. Just keep offering it to her this too will pass

From everything I've read/heard/been told (by pediatrician), they need formula or breast milk as their main source of calories during the first year of life. She should be getting 24-32 oz per day. Otherwise she's going to be lacking in enough fat calories which are very vital to brain development (which you can't see just by looking at her), and is at risk for dehydration.
