i need information on poverty levels, percentages of welfare people, and information like that...WHERE CAN I GO????

The Statistical Abstract of the United States has this type of information. Table 690 at http://www.census.gov/prod/2006pubs/07statab/income.pdf has the number and percent of individuals and families in poverty as well as totals for the U.S. Therre are many related tables as well.

Your school library should have a reference book with nothing but statistics in it. If not the town library would have it. It is full of pretty much any stats that you need. I have used the one at school for everything from speeches, to research papers
