How Do I undo the bottom of a weed eater to replace the spool of thread?

You unscrew it at the bottom. There should be a hand screw that you tighten and loosen by hand. Then you remove the cover. The hard part is getting it to start right once you put the thread on. Otherwise the thread can get too long to fast. I believe there is normally a spring tensioner on there and you want to make sure to trim the thread to the proper length. Don't get it too long.

You would unscrew it. You may have to push in while you twist the head.
