I don't remember if the box said , but I threw out the box anyhow. I don't like my current color ( I colored it a week ago). When can I safetly color it again?

The general rule is 6 weeks, but if you're just wanting to go a shade lighter or darker, you could do it in a couple of weeks. Drastic color changes really damage your hair if done too frequently.

You should be fine to color it now. I know with bleaching, they suggest that you wait 24 hours between applications, to give your hair a chance to rest. I believe that it is the same with color. I know that I have done three colors in one day, because nothing was turning out like I wanted. My hair was a little frazzled for a week afterwards, but it calmed down again.

If you remember the brand of color, you could probably check their website as well, to see if there are any specific limitations.

They say 4 but its safe at 3 weeks I use the lori'el permanent color and have never had a problem...which reminds me I'm due for one... thanks for reminding me!
