Which is more painful?

A vaginal birth with pain meds. and epidural or a c-section?

Hard to say, I had an emergency c-section after ten hours of labor. I didn't walk for two days. And getting up after surgery was so difficult. Going to the potty was a whole new lesson in pain, but I don't know how much of that was because of my circumstances or if it is like that for everyone. I know that my sister-in-law was walking the morning after her boy was born. Three years later I sometimes get a twinge of pain if I get up too fast. But it goes away rather quickly. I have to say, staples are no picnic either!
