My husband is stuck on a name Im really unsure about. The middle name will be Elaine, after my, my mom, and my grandma. But he wants her first name to be Taylor.

Taylor Elaine.

Im just not sure of the unisex names. Would it be more feminine as Tayler?

I am more into feminine names, like Kailtyn, Alyssa, Audrey, Carissa, etc. But my husband loves the name Taylor so much!Any suggestions or opinions are appreciated! Thanks!

I agree with you. I'm not a big fan of the name Taylor. Is there any way your husband might go for using Taylor as another middle name, like...Audrey Taylor Elaine or Audrey Elaine Taylor?

"Taylor Elaine" sounds fine.

Please don't change the spelling though. My parents got creative with with spelling my name and so no one knows how to spell it!

You could always give her 3 names. It is not that uncommon now and it would give you the option of adding a more feminine name that you like without giving up your husband's choice.

"Taylor Audrey Elaine" or "Audrey Taylor Elaine" are nice.

I personally like Taylor Elaine. I think it is a beautiful name. If your husband loves it and your really don't have any major objections it's a beautiful name. I think Taylor is very feminine.

I think Taylor Elaine is very nice. You could try spelling it differently to get a more feminine feel, but I think it is fine w/out changing the spelling. Taylor is a great name!

Go with Taylor. I have a friend that's named Taylor and I love her name. I think Taylor should be more meant for girls. Personally when I hear the name Taylor I think of a girl, but that's just me. Go with Taylor it's a really pretty name and it will make your husband happy. Just tell him you would like to name your next baby.

Taylor is an adorable name. I don't care for the spelling Tayler at all though...

If you don't like it though then don't use it. You need to find a name you both love.

Maybe you could both agree on:
- Skylar Elaine
- Morgan Elaine?
- Tessa Elaine?
- Alexandra Elaine? (nn Alex)
- Samantha Elaine? (nn Sam for him)
- Meredith Elaine?
- Devon Elaine?

Good Luck!! SD

I like the name Taylor for a baby girl, although it would make it a bit better if it were to be spelled like 'Tayler'

in all fairness you should at least give him the first name since the middle name is from your side of the family. Good luck with your little bundle of joy.
