Why is it when you post a question about the CSA and are male that people automatically think that you are to blame and trying to avoid supporting your child? The fact that i have supported my child fully and exceeded the amount payable by the CSA by 10 times i am still liable to repay benefits that my ex partner claimed. Even though she does not want the CSA to get involved as the support i have given her is far greater than any state benefit.

Normally the CSA get out once everything is settled, however maybe they are just trying it on as another stealth tax. firstly I would refuse to repay the benefits for an ex. That is between her and the DHSS.

If she didnt let them know you were helping then she should be the one having to pay back, but if you havent payed any then its down to you.
If you can prove that you have been making payments then you will be OK and she will likely get her wrists slapped
