Wow, Captain Planet... I almost forgot about that show. Absolutely loved it when I was younger, my siblings and I would watch that show every chance we got! I'm not too sure what the other shows are that you've listed, but I think they definitely could bring back Captain Planet.

The best bet is a channel called Boomerang if you have it. It's a separate channel, but part of the Cartoon Network. They play all the classics like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Popeye and more recently Smurfs. My son used to watch Cpt. Planet within the last year, but I haven't seen it on lately.
I miss the old ones too. These new toons sucks. I hate computer animated stuff.

Give me Transformers (generation 1), G.I. Joe, Voltron, He-Man (original, the remake sucks) and M.A.S.K. and I'll never leave the house.

the only reason they don't accept good cartoons anymore is because they are not violent enough!!!aren't you aware that the world is interested in money making only, people just want to make money no matter what hapens to mother earthand the people inn it, but what good is to have all the money or all the gold when there will be no one left on the earth the earth will allways be but we are not waranty. and yes no more tellytabbies.

Because the kids today are WAY too spoiled.

They wouldn't know what to do with a good cartoon if it stood up and smacked them in the face with a wet noodle.

today's cartoons are no match against the classics- thundercats, bravestar, mask, hanna barbera, loony tunes to name. those were fab to watch. did you know that you can purchase thundercats on dvd? that was and still is my all-time favourite

Hope is that they will all be released on DVD - I believe She-Ra is available (daughters fav show and shes 24). Then we can make our kids or grandkids watch them.

Because they were good 20 years ago, the same as cortinas, chevettes and capri's. I know; lets all trash our dvd players and get the old vhs and betamax out as well. Yippeee!!

It's a long wish-list, but I agree completely. One of my favorites (and I have never seen it as an adult) was Star Blazers.......
