I recently buried a statue of St Joseph to help me in selling my house. Does anyone know of any 'supernatural' help in applying the same to a very wanted job?

Saint Joseph is not only the Patron Saint of the home but also the Patron Saint of Workers and working people.

Following is the Catholic prayer to Saint Joseph for workers:

"Glorious Saint Joseph, you are the pattern of all who work. Obtain for me, please, the grace to work conscientiously and to put devotion to duty before my selfish inclinations. Help me to labor in thankfulness and joy, for it is an honor to employ and to develop by my labor the gifts I have received from almighty God. Grant that I may work in orderliness, peace, moderation and patience without shrinking from weariness and difficulties. I offer my fatigue and perplexities as reparation for sin. I shall work, above all, with a pure intention and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes the hour of death and the accounting which I must then render of time ill-spent, of talents unemployed, of good undone, and of empty pride in success, which is so fatal to the work of God. For Jesus through Mary, all in imitation of you, good Saint Joseph. This shall be my motto in life and in death. Amen."

Otherwise, I have seen no rituals for finding a job as the one used to sell a house.

Like you, I too am looking for work and wish I could give you something more concrete to do.

You may be able to find novena or 7 day candles for St Joseph at your local supermarket or religious supply store. Light it while saying the prayer on the back of the candle, or say the prayer given above. If a candle cannot be found with picture of St Joseph, a yellow candle can substitute. Depending upon the type of work you are looking for you could ask for for other saints to interceed on your behalf. For example if you were looking for work as a florist, you could petition Rose of Lima or Theresa of Lisieux, or if you wanted to work with animals as a vet or in a pet shop, you would petiton St Francis of Assisi, If you were looking in the feild of baking, pastry chef etc you would ask Honoratus... You can check this site for a list of patronages. http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/indexsnt.htm
If you cant find novena candles you can always go to any catholic church, put a few dollars in the box, and light one there.

For yourself a green candle and say the following.

Calling on the powers rich A chant for money now, I look into the flame I lit To see the what and how.
Green the symbol Gold the cure for everthing I ask These words a prayer my voice a cry Financial is the task
Guide my workings this fine day To bring about and end I know that I must work to find The money that you'll send You answer only those who ask With reverence in your power I await your answer yes To my heart's desire
I call it now I draw them hence And pray they're coming I will sense
Money times three, so mote it be.

(WHILE DOING DO THIS VISION YOURSELF AT WORK. MAKING MONEY)
