Anyone who thinks the press would ignor Mother Teresa is not in touch with reality. Afterall. Many, many of the press are catholic and so are their families.
Honey! dinner is ready. What did you do at work today. "Oh, nothing. Just ignored Mother Teresa. That ***** is always begging for money and publicity.

Or maybe they give her too much air time and press?

She was one woman of many men and women who work very hard to take care of the poor and needy. What she was able to do, and the press picked up, was to move her little effort to a mass media public relations coup. When Princess Di showed up, Mother Teresa's efforts were guaranteed, as far as funding.

I don't really have an issue with the fact that Mother Teresa and her convent doing such wonderful work, they do and I know it. I have a problem with the fact that so many other groups, organizations and individuals do as much or more work and no one has ever heard of them.

As to Anna Nicole, she was a suffering woman who captured the attention of a great many people. People are interested in her and the drama of her life, but not everyone. Okay. But, the press also needs to realize it created her and they can create far more positive role models, like the Mother Teresa types.

I'll tell you for certain, Mother Teresa will be long remembered as an important historical figure than Anna Nicole Smith will ever be...in a few years, maybe in another generation no one will know who Anna Nicole Smith was.

Also, I am not aware of the issue that you raise in your question, maybe I'm more in touch with reality that you suppose...I don't live off the television or the news for my source of information. Being in touch with reality means looking and being aware of more sources than just the television and the press. Maybe you should do the same.

I don't understand your question.

Where I come from, Anna Nicole Smith is not being ignored by the press, in fact, her stories seem more important than other world issues. As for Mother Theresa, well, it's kind of difficult for someone to be in the news if they haven't done anything in awhile! Oh, yeah, she's also not alive.
