I go to Stony Brook (and I'm pre med) so I can speak for this school only. There are TONS of pre-med students and the school is really big on science so the science classes are really competitive. We also have a hospital so you have access to programs such as shadowing doctors and stuff like that. In my opinion it is difficult and competitive especially if you go for science at Stony Brook so if you are looking for easy classes then I wouldn't suggest Stony Brook. Otherwise, go for it because they are really strong in science.

First off, congratulations for being accepted to such competitive schools.
Well at Buffalo, you're going to have to deal with a lot of snow. The living expenses will be significantly less at Buffalo, Binghamton, and Albany. Stony Brook is so close to NYC that rent is pretty steep. Since they are all state schools, the costs should be pretty similar. I do not know much about pharmacy school, but Binghamton is one of the two top rated SUNY schools (Geneseo being the other).
It all really depends on what type of an experience you are looking for. I know SUNY Albany is a big party school. Again, I don't know much about the pharmacy school.
Your best bet would be to speak with people who actually attend these schools and find out what they think. You also should visit them all, to see for yourself what the campuses look like and how the classes are.
Best of luck!

i go to SUNY stony brook, and i think that if you're considering anything in the field of health care, thats the place to go to. its a really strong science school, but also very competitive. i think you'll find a lot of guidance here because the advisors are all experienced with getting people into med school, optometry pharmacy vet whatever....DONT go to albany, im from there and the professors are horrible and its a major party school. hope i helped!

Definitely Stony Book... The campus is big, a lot to do in Long Island (free time), and of course the ambience

Having graduated from UB, I would have preferred a school with more weight. The schools mentioned are mostly SUNY run schools... cheap & efficient but not impressive.

My vote is for Stonybrook, my cousin is pre-med there and I've sat in on a few lectures, very good education.
